It's been many years since the original version of TopDog Pro was released. In fact, that was back in November of 1998. Since then many things have changed, including how engines attempt to foil ranking software like TopDog Pro. It has now gotten to a point where TopDog Pro can no longer keep up with the search engines.

Both the tools and the technology behind TopDog Pro have gotten old. Even Microsoft no longer supports the development tools to keep TopDog Pro going. In light of this, over the last couple weeks we have sent out email notices to all of our current subscribers letting them know they can continue thier subscription with Ranking-Manager 6—another ranking software that we developed which is built with the latest tools and technology.

If you own TopDog Pro and your subscription has expired, you can still upgrade to Ranking-Manager 6 using your original authorization code. Currently the upgrade price is $99.95 for the Pro edition (retails for $389), which includes another year of search engine updates. You can go here to upgrade:

If your TopDog Pro subscription is current, but you have not received an email from us, you can still get the upgrade for FREE. Open your copy of TopDog Pro and go to Help | About TopDog Pro from the main menu. Make sure it says your subscription is still good, then copy and paste the authorization code into an email with the subject "TopDog Pro FREE Upgrade" and send it to sales@websitemanagementtools.com. You should receive your new authorization code for Ranking-Manager 6 within about 48 hours.
